About us

Marion's Ledge is a vision that began with Hank Hauffe in the Fall of '03 when he resigned from the MFAH (Museum of Fine Arts, Houston) and took time (and a trip to Europe) with the purpose of seeing if there was a vision within him. More recently Hailey Hinson fell in love with the concept and in the summer of '06 made it her mission to get this project off the dime... and thanks to her it's finally gotten out of my notebook and massaged into forms like Mission Statements and Articles of Incorporation in an effort to make it into a reality.

We are believers in the worth of this project and are resolutely determined to go naively and optimistically forth to turn it into concrete, and water, and people and smiles.
